So I just watched the entire PS4 event... yes, all of it... live.

Gotta say, its shaping up quite well (though I'm not thrilled how they're doing the so-called backwards compatibility). The system itself looks to be amazingly innovative, whilst the games just look insane... Watch Dogs, Deep Down, and the new Killzone are particularly awe inspiring (especially Watch Dogs), and Bungie's new commitment to exclusive content for their upcoming title, Destiny, promises to steal a good percentage of the long standing Halo fanbase that has made the XBox so popular (Microsoft sure dropped the ball when they let them go solo). All around an amazing conference, and while I was going into it thinking I'd likely wait for the second gen PS4 before upgrading from the PS3, I'm now left thinking how I might budget myself so that I can afford one this Holiday season... its just THAT wowing.
