    Latest updates...

You guys have been awful quiet. What have you been working on lately?

I've been running lots and lots of chests and dungeons lately and it's been boosting me mad stacks. I think I'm well on my way to getting my Permanent Hair Style contract!

I'm also looking forward to the Guild Missions, though I'm a little annoyed at how long the guild upgrades take.

Not been doing too much - had a few BSOD issues to sort out but I think ( ) and fingers-crossed, I'm OK now.

Love the new Patch, the dailies are now finally just as promised.

Only did guild bounties but it was fun. Theres a reason again to do world bosses. I love it all.

Anet is headed in the right direction.

Other than that, I have a new guild and have been spending a lot of time ingame. I try to check on these forums a few times a day, but so many ppl are gone...... I guess this game pleases a different crowd now, and they arent the ones on this forum.

    Hope you are all well.

oh, and guesting is being exploited something fierce, I hope it gets fixed soon.

It's pretty sad that the forums are so quiet now. But that's the case with most fansites, once the first hype calms down. And they have official forums, too, so that's another thing you have against this project.
I really liked it here. Nice people and (almost) no flaming. I suggest you do another one like this for ESO, once a little bit more is known, so that I can jump onto the hype train once again

Well put. I agree with the ESO suggestion. I really enjoyed the discussions with this group. Id like to see that transition to the next big mmo release.

I took a long break. I tried so hard to get back into the game, just can't do it. With the dungeon run's changing, and you have to wait for everyone to die before you can get back into the fight, the changes in the daily's, just no longer my cup of tea.

Who knows when the expansion comes around, that may get me involved again. For now, its simply time to move on to a different game.

I think alot of people are feeling the same way as tym right now. The guild missions are great but we havent even really gotten to experience them yet since we are waiting for all the stupidly long upgrades to finish lol. But alot of groups are seeing their members burnt out on the game and looking elsewhere untill the next big update.

I fear that although GW2 has an amazing take on the traditional MMO, compelling storyline and quest system, hours upon hours of crazy fun, that unless you have a really good group to share your time with, it doesnt really have alot of long term playability (without regular content updates). The content does tend to get a bit old after a while. Thats why its more important than ever to get into a good guild and grab onto that life raft before you lose interest and cant find your way back.

I agree that the exploiting (and yes its exploiting imo) of the guesting for the world bosses is out of hand and needs to be dealt with. Its pretty sad when you cant even partake in your own homeworlds events because theres so many guests that you are stuck in an overflow. If nothing else i believe homeworlders should have priority over guests and that guests should be kicked off if homeworlders wish to participate. I guess we will wait it out and see what happens.

Im very sad to see that these forums have really slowed down alot. I think alot of people (like myself) stopped comming here as much after the game launched. It was a place to spend my time before the game came out but honesty, after the game came out the conversation changed from being always positive (almost always anyway) to mostly negative and ranting and bitching. Admittedly i tend to not really enjoy reading that as much and stopped being on as frequently.

Glad to see the regulars are still here tho even if im not too fond of some of them haha.

Edit: Ah sorry wrong purple. That just goes to show how long its been lol
