Running GW2 on my MacBook Pro? Worth Buying??

Hey All,

I currently have a Mac Book Pro and I'm wondering if it will be capable of running GW2. MBP Specs.jpg. In case my image doesn't show up my specs are as follows::

MacBook Pro (13-Inch , Mid 2009)
Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB
Software: OS X 10.8.2

I'm really interested in playing GW2 as it looks awesome but i'm really worried about the frame rate. What do you guys think? Is it even worth me purchasing GW2 with this current system?

I play on a MBP. Your specs are better than mine, and GW2 runs just fine for me.

Also, this game is awesome. You'll love it!

I have an identical setup in my MBP and it works beautifully. I recommend (hoping you have access to it) loading up Windows 7 through Bootcamp. I am averaging about 35 FPS (using Medium - High Settings) in 90% of the game using Windows 7 vs. the 10-15 FPS (sometimes less :-/) I was getting using the MAC Beta through OSX.

Not to mention the MAC Beta doesnt properly support running GW2 Natively, so the graphics were not so pretty.
