Mouse question

So I just got the genius gila 12 button mouse to replace my Logitech g9 7 button mouse and was disappointed to find out of the 12 buttons only 5 are recognizable for gw2 the left right middle and windows 4 and 5. For other games I would just use a macro as a work around but don't want to risk it with gw2. It would be terrible getting banned for using a macro that only executes one command. Although I'm not sure if Anet would be able to see if I'm using a 1 command macro vs a multiple command macro.

Can anyone help me with some mice to look at where all the buttons can be recognized by gw2? The genius gila is a really nice mouse and I'll prolly keep it. Not too sure yet though.

I have a logitech g300 (i think) 9 button mouse and I play using a G13 gamepad as well. For both I use logitech's program to remap and create custom macros on them.

Anet has said macros that are 1 button push 1 action are ok and no one would be banned for using them. I'd link the official forum page, but I'm being lazy atm, I believe it is a sticky though.

Also they have said 3rd party programs are NOT bannable as long as they do not alter any game files or give players an advantage over other players. They will not endorse or say certain programs are ok, but as long as you make sure the program isn't changing game files or giving you an advantage (usually have to change game files to get an advantage) then you have no worries.
