Man, I'm just LOVING the new style the game is going in, with the paintings and everything. Really sets it apart. I hope the full character creator comes out nice. Sick find, JohnnyV :O

Another video here, this time with a Level 1 Necromancer facing off (among other players) against a centaur invasion. Beautiful settings:

Definitely. The original trailer and everything, using concept art w/animation was amazing. I'm glad that wasn't just done because of a lack of gameplay footage...I love the effect and it does seem like they're carrying it over to all aspects of the game.

Also, thanks for the video postings guys!

To be totally honest, I was expecting some kind of disappointing error in the demo that would make me say "Aw, this game WAS to good to be true, after all." But I found no such thing.

Still a few more days of demo coverage too, and they did say there would be a lot of content, so maybe we'll see even more.

    EDIT!: Lookie what I found!

Divinity's Reach Gameplay, although it is very low quality. Also shows an Event, along with an Epic boss fight.

Thanks all for posting those vids, I really appreciate it!

Character Creation vid: While quite simple in appearance, there deems to be a LOT of potential for some awesome stuff here. I am *really* curious about some of the more advanced character customization. If I get what I want, the customization capabilities will be closer to Aion than GW...

Charr Gameplay vid: I really like the animation that they have going on. Not so sure about the halo-effect for targeting and such, but I can get used to it. I'm digging the movement where the Charr go from two legs to running on all fours. I also like the dual-wielding axes - that's REALLY neat! I'm also digging the map travel and map-views, it gives a more realistic sense of how big the world is. As far as how much damage is being dealt/taken by the PC, I am inclined to believe that things were altered for the sake of the demo - it's not all that fun to get squished in a game, even less so during a demo. Regardless, I am liking what I am seeing a LOT.

Human Gameplay vid: Divinity's Reach looks VERY well put together and very, very interesting. I'm looking forward to just running around the city to just *see* all the stuff that's going on. I also like theidea that one can map-travel around the city proper. This is great idea considering the apparent size of Divinity's Reach itself.

Overall, I am really liking the look and feel of GW2. I think ANet has hit one hell of a gold mine with this game, just on gameplay and graphics alone. Can't wait until it's finally released!
