    What faction will you choose?

The title states everything. What faction will you choose? I have not made my decision yet so I really want to see what people are going for.

I like the idea of the Vigil, though I'm sympathetic to the Priory. There is definitely a place for research, but sometimes you just need to attack a problem head on. and by head on, i mean with high explosives and artillery. Nothin' that stuff can't fix...

As I said in a previous thread; each faction's strategy has their appeal and turn-offs for me. The Vigil is taking direct action against a problem, but I doubt charging head-on at the dragons en masse will do much more than line everyone up for easy barbecuing. The Priory's got a good idea looking for some sort of intelligent solution to the problem...but from what I understand, they're mostly delving into the past to find it, and if there was a way to kill the dragons back then, I'd think previous civilizations would have used it already. Then there's the Order. As someone who likes to play thieves, I like how they're more inclined for a clever, subtle approach to the problem. But putting the dragons back to sleep? That to me is just stupid; if they woke up once before, they can wake up again, and the problem will keep going on and on and on, with them waking up every so often and causing mass destruction until they're put to sleep again.

So I honestly don't know what I'll pick, but I'm leaning towards Priory. Because one possibility that occurs to me is maybe some ancient civilization did find a way to destroy dragons, but died before they could use it.

Presumably, if the dragons can't be destroyed, putting them back to sleep would seem to be the only thing we can do...and then setting up a foundation with the information so it's not forgotten again. I'm interested to see how Anet handles this. Are three three endings, three ways to defeat Zhaitan depending on which faction you choose?

I plan to play through the game on all three factions on three different characters, because that's what I do.

I'll join the priory with my main because the Elder Dragons are, like, primordial creatures that are just a part of nature. Surely there's no way that they can be taken on with brute force alone. Also, my character is an Asura, so he's inclined towards knowledge. Also, Durmand Priory is responsible for the New Krytian language, which is amazing, since it is a universal language and is understood by all races. If nothing else, this makes them responsible for the peace between races that is now present and will allow us to actually stand a chance against the dragons.
