Order of Whispers, how are they still alive or functioning
As we all know or most of us who played GW: Nightfall Campaign, that Order of Whispers were the keepers of the secret to Palawa.Joko's prison and were actually like the cleansers of evil.
So when Palawa came back, wouldn't he have destroyed Order of Whispers main HQ at Chantry of Whispers, cause you know they held secrets about him. So how comes they're still prancing about going in-between Kryta and Elona.
I am sure if I was in Palawa's shoes the first thing I would do after coming to power is destroy the people who imprisoned me.
So what's everyone's take on how OoW are still surviving?
(just a little bit of lore digging
)

Look at it this way: the Order of Whispers always were kind of a secretive organization, and they never had a very obvious and large headquarter where all their members could be found. They were spread out all over the land, with members everywhere. Sure, it's entirely possible that their hidden headquarter at the Chantry of Secrets was found and destroyed, but that would leave plenty of order members elsewhere who could easily regroup elsewhere. And apparently they even had a delegation in Tyria, that may already habe been there 250 years ago, and that has only grown stronger since then. Besides, at this stage none of us know what actually happened to Palawa Joko... that is a story for another time/expansion.

I'm with Centaur on this one. I have a hunch they are still around trying to figure out a way to get those meddlesome dragons sleeping again
. While I think they took a huge setback with the destruction of their headquarters, I think they have been slowly rebounding.

There has certainly been huge hints on a Guild Wars Beyond chapter for Elona & the Nightfall campaign. The storyline could be to foil Palawa's plans & protect the Order's secrets. That would completely explain there existence. Centaur's explanation is also highly plausible.

I hope this little article shed's some light on the OoW. Imo Only the foolish or arrogant put all thier information or resources in 1 area. It sound's like they based the OoW on the various secret societies found throughout history. And destroying what you can't find is extremely difficult :P
