But that's the extent of my worries for now. And there are annoying powerlevelers in every game. I'm pretty confident, but still holding out for pre-purchase until my handful of questions is answered.

Again Transmutation Stones are another thing that just changes the appearance of something to be something else. If someone is that desperate to "look" a certain way, they can either pay for the gems, or buy them with some gold. But let me be the first to let you know since it doesn't seem you do, Transmutation Stones will definitely not let you win "the best Guild Wars 2 player" achievement.

Your flat out denial of reality is amusing. Face it, ArenaNet making T-stones available through the cash shop is just the first step in an already occurring downward spiral.
