Thoughts on naming?

Did you/do you like Guild Wars 2-name system?

I'd prefer not to be forced into two names...though for some characters I'd keep both. Ruse Torrent would still be Ruse Torrent...but maybe I just want someone to be named a single name, too.

What do you prefer/what do you anticipate they'll do? Considering they've said you can reserve names we know there'll definitely be a two-name option. I'm not holding out much hope for single names, but I'm still crossing my fingers. =/

well personally i rather like mulitiple names i generally run name like Trinzil Von Gindt, or Blyn De Zightal. I also use 2 name chars too but i generally dont use less then 2 if i can help it though in the demo i did see a few one named chars, that being said that could be a demo thing, but you never know

well if i can have just a single name it will most likely be highlander ^^. But if it turns out to be two names i will probably put Highlander Sensei ^^.

I hope it'll just give you the option for both so everyone happy. Personally I used to get mad at trying to find the actual name of a player when it reads " Exalted Toldain Skyrunner Champion of Bayle". Whatever happened to "Bob" or "Nick"?

totally agree. I never understood 'having' to have a first and last name.

I always thought it was kind of a way to let people have what ever name they wanted, so people wouldnt be like, "I wanted Legolas! Oh well guess I'll have to be Leggohlass"

Some of my characters are cooler with one, some with two. I'm kinda used to the 2-name convention in a guild wars setting though.

In the demo videos I saw people making one named characters but like Cryptis said, it could just be a demo thing. I hope it's not, but then again I think Izzy will be taken already (probably by the other Izzy hehe).

I wonder how the reserved names will work with the HoM. Will we have to have that exact character name to transfer the rewards? Or can we use a new character name and still receive the credit?

Either way I'll probably still end up as Izzy Katsu, a human ranger. Maybe I don't like change lol
