Elijah and the Elements

This is a different format than most of you are probably used to, but I do most of my "writing" this way, as I'm much more into performance than I am putting things on paper. Below is an "audioplay" of a character's backstory that I wrote a long time ago, and have decided to utilize for my character in Guild Wars 2 when it comes out, given how eerily similar the idea of an Elementist and Elijah's background actually seem to be.

It's not exactly bluntly descriptive, and lacks some necessary context, but I hope it is enjoyed, all the same.

Hi Jason and welcome to the forums. That was quite unique...I see what you mean by performance. As you also implied, not sure how that fits in with the Guild Wars 2 universe, but then, I don't have to be. I still found it entertaining. I've always enjoyed meeting and chatting with creative people. Out of curiosity, what other games have you played?

Thanks for the welcome. My first and favorite MMO was Asheron's Call. Since then, I've gone through Anarchy Online, Elder Kingdom, Asheron's Call 2, Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Rift, The Old Republic, and now Guild Wars 2. With the exceptions of AC1 and WoW, I didn't play the others for very long at all (most only a few months). Guild Wars 2 is breaking the mold of mechanics that I've grown incredibly tired of, however, and returning back to a more liberated system that I've missed dearly.
