Open world or no?

Does this game is in open world or it would be the same as Gw1?

Yes, it will be a persistent (open) world, but will have some instanced areas, but these instanced areas will be only for dungeon raids and story telling ^^. Hope it helps.

and the environment is ever changing, so one day you run into town with a few friends and resupply the next its a pile of ashes because no one stopped the raid last night while you where sleeping. Plus unlike most persistent world KSing is not really possible and griefing should be very low if not gone, collecting stuff like Mineral nodes is also kind of a private instanced even though its in the open world. Its kind of mixed alot because even though you are around other players and they can come and go and what not, you still get some content to your self(great way to remove the annoying bits of Open world)

i hope its Open! i like to see ppl on my Travels and if i go to find a boss and i find someone who needs it for say a Quest, we can help each other out (: make Friends ect ect
