    Looking for competitive PvP guild

    Personal Information

I'm 18 years old currently going to high school as a senior in Texas. I intend to get a part time job during the summer and will ship off to college during the fall. I am seeking a BS in Video Game design with several years programming experience in Java. Video Games occupy the majority of my free time and I expect I will be extremely into Guild Wars 2 when it comes out. I have a laid back personality but will lash out against people who continuously rage. I also have a passion for Anime and Manga just fyi.

    Gaming Resume

Like many hard core video gamers I began playing MMORPGs around the age of 11 starting with City of Villians/Heroes. I have since then played Guild Wars, WoW, SWTOR, WarHammer Online, and a variety of other MMORPGs. I have much experience when it comes to working with others in MMORPGs. Its hard to put into words the sheer amount of my life I'v dedicated to video games so I will just say I play a lot. I have always been heavily geared towards PvP but have plenty of skill in the other areas of play. I will say though that I have not had lots of experience working with MMO clans. Most of my time has been spent playing solo or with a group of friends.

    What I'm Looking For

I will first say that I do not want to be part of a guild that casually invites as many members as they can. I stress maturity be present in the guild above all else. I can hardly stand people who rage and curse at every blow they receive. Communication using a voice program is a must. As my thread states I am looking for a guild that intends to be heavily oriented towards PvP, in particular WvWvW.

In the event you haven't yet decided on a guild, I'd ask that you take a look at The Brotherhood <PvE/PvP/WvW> (And yes, we have Sisters too haha).

Basics: We do a little bit of everything and really aim to have a lot of fun out of a game because that's why we play games. We want to fight through epic dungeons with epic monsters with an epic group to get to an epic boss that drops epic armor. Plain and simple. We want to fight in tough battles against tough opponents and emerge victorious. We want to attack, take, rebuild, and defend a keep in WvW. We want our enemies approaching the keep to see our flag flying on its flagposts and know that they are in for the fight of their lives because on the other side of those walls is The Brotherhood, and taking that keep will be the hardest thing they've ever had to do.

    Why The Brotherhood?

-We've got a fast-growing community. Enjin places us in the top 3 fastest growing Guild Wars 2 guilds using enjin, and that's a lot of guilds. In 2 weeks we gained about 45 members. We have hit the 110 member mark and intend on growing strong.

    - We've good a great structure. With a great leadership team, a great ranking system, and a great plan for a Big Brother Program we intend to install shortly after launch, we're looking structurally strong.

    - We've got the content. Our web site speaks for itself. Take one look at it, and you'll know we mean business. I have been a leader of many clans/guilds in other MMOs, and never have I been a part of an organization that packs nearly this much content in a web site, especially in such a visually stunning and fun way. http://www.thebrotherhoodgw2.com

    - We're building a family, not a giant war machine. The problem in many massive guilds is that you feel like just another cog of the war machine. We don't want that to happen. With our Big Brother Program and our Ranking system, we intend on making sure every Brother and Sister feels like part of a family.

    - We have the perfect balance of elitist and teacher. We wanted to have restrictions on joining squads so that a bunch of lvl 1s aren't repping us in WvW, but we would NEVER want to prevent people from being a part of our community. The Big Brother Program will take the intro lvls (like say 1-30) and pair them with a Big Brother or Sister who will teach the new Brother or Sisters how the guild (and the game, for that matter) operates. This fulfills both the need to be elitist and the need to teach.

    - We are global. We have members from all over the world. Our site is NEVER dull, and we have activity on forums and chat box 24/7. We even have officers dedicated to EU players, since we do get several. Even though the guild is based in EST, we have members from every time zone in the US and many other places.

    - We boast immense activity. As of 4/15, we had over 92% Member activity daily. That means that out of our 100something members, over 90 logged on in a 24 hour span. THAT is activity if I've ever seen it. Plenty of guilds can say "Oh we have 100 people," but not many can say that out of those 100 people, over 90 of them are active every day.

If you're still interested, take a look at our short recruitment video (less than 3 minutes):

I promise you won't regret it. Thanks for your time, and have a great day.

    Competitive Guild Recruiting Now!
Hello, Shattered Revolution Gaming is now recruiting members for Guild Wars 2. One of the main things about this guild that will make it better than the others is that it does not just accept everyone who applies so it can be a big guild. So how can I join then? You may ask. Well here is how: You must be ACTIVE and must play competitively and seriously, very much unlike trolls. Also we don't want a ton of people (as stated above) to just join so they can say they are in a guild. We of course understand you want to play with friends but if needed we expect you to help the guild out in raids, dungeons, bosses etc. Also we would like to have scheduled WvWvW times to go in as one and dominate and destroy the other unorganized enemies. We WILL be that guild that when hundreds of people are attempting to take a keep, the enemies will see our guild banner and cower in fear, for they will see our banner and we will not give up, we will send them away, relentless and unforgiving. One last thing is that we will have OPTIONAL dungeons and major raids every day to every other day. We understand people have other things to do besides game, thus we are very helpful and accommodating/flexible with other peoples schedules. So what are you waiting for? Join SRG today and together we will carry our server to victory, and we will make a name for ourselves, eventually getting sponsored. That is a promise from me personally.
We also would love to use voice chat while playing. Thank you all for making this possible!
