A horrific event happened that day. An event that forever altered our entire world and shattered the lives of many families. I say this here to continue a tradition friends of mine started that day. I ask that all of you join us in this tradition.
Take some time out today to tell those who mean something to you that they do mean something to you. Spend some time with your friends and family today doing what they enjoy. Please remember and keep in mind those whose lives have ended that day and all of those who have passed away because of that event.
If any one here has lost someone due to September 11th, the ensuing wars, I am sorry for your loss. If you have a friend or family member currently fighting over seas, I pray every day that your loved one might return unharmed.
As a race, human beings have made very bloody and costly mistakes, and this is one of the greatest of them, not in number, but in impact. Many people died that day, and many families were crushed. What happened on Septemberr 11, 2001 should never be forgotten.
I know that one paragraph can never even hope to scratch the surface of the loss we suffered nine years ago today, but I offer my humble words in condolences of the families that lost loved ones during 9/11, and all those who are overseas, fighting with their lives on the line. If anyone here has lost someone or something during the fall of the towers, then I offer my greatest condolences to you and your family, and I am terribly, terribly sorry for your loss.
Let this event that crushed us nine years ago to the day be the force that drives us be greater people, and never commit an act of such horrid violence again. Let it be a force that hounds us every day, reminds us to appreciate human life, family, friend, or stranger. And let it be our conscious, to remind us that nothing, nothing, is more valuable than life.
Once again, my condolences for any losses, I am truly, for the bottom of my heart, sorry. Please, spend a moment of silence today in remembrance. And to those who are fighting in wars, to those who are combating the forces who committed such crimes against humanity itself...
