First Ever Guild Wars 2 Forum Contest

Ok guys and gals, it has been decided, we're going to host the first ever competition here on the forum. To keep the competition fun and engaging, we've decided to go with a 'Draft' competition.

You might be asking - why not just make it Guild Wars related? Well, we thought about that but we were unsure if there would enough characters to warrant a full draft. So, we want you to help us decide in which direction to go.

We're looking for ideas on what kind of draft you all would be interested in. There will be a poll attached to thread, so just pick which draft you'd be most interested in being a part of.

We're looking at providing PRIZE(S) to the winner of the draft, so there could possibly be incentives beyond fun to join. Before starting the actual draft, we would certainly announce what the prize is as well.

If you don't see the kind of draft you want in the poll, then drop a post in this thread and it will be counted. You may also use the thread to discuss various draft types and ideas.

Also, sign in the thread by making a post if you'd be interested in being a part of the draft.

I don't understand what you mean by draft. The entire post confuses me.

Kind of unsure what you mean by draft but any which way, I am in

Basically it's like a fantasy draft (fantasy football anyone?). Everyone drafts a certain amount of characters, be them from video games, Guild Wars etc. And then we'll probably do matchups and have people vote on the best teams.

would cross that bridge when we came to it. I imagine that if we did PC's and NPC's, people would have to provide screenshots and explain why someone should vote for them.

Might make it more interesting doing it that way.

Think it might be fun to not just take the list and ask, "Who would win in a fight?", but take your team of 5 and then be asked, "What team would win a poker tournament" or Twister, or Beerfest.
