Heroics Guild (Darkhaven, most likely) [N.A]
Hello everyone, my guild, Heroics, is looking for active GW2 players. We're a guild with a core group of a couple real life friends that have been playing MMO's and other games for as long as we can remember.
Heroics is most focused on the endgame of Guild Wars 2, we look forward to doing large squad rampages through WvW and changing the tides of battle. We also might try to get into some competitive structured PvP tournaments. Of course, along with WvW we will be PvEing to get adequately geared. We're going to be purchasing a 50 slot TS3 before the next beta and we'd love to get some new people to come play with us.
Heroics really doesn't have any requirements right now, we just want more members. This may change at a later date. Our guild is going to take GW2 very seriously, but we do love joking around in TS and in guild chat. There are no strict "rules" regarding language or banter. Anyway, that's really as much as I can tell you guys about us yet as we don't actually "exist" until release. But if any of you are looking for a fun, laid-back but serious, and active guild you should check out our forums and register.
Our "home" time zone is central, but you'll find members on at all hours of the day.

Thanks again, and I hope to see you in game!

Hi Condemn, I'd like to welcome you and Heroics to this forum. One question: what's the main region/time zone of this guild? Apparently a large part of our members search for guilds based on location, so to make it easier for them to find you I would recommend adding that info to the OP, and probably to the title as well.

Hey Condemn, welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the posts, and thanks for that Centaur. It's N.A, and the "main" time zone is central, but Pacific and Eastern are just as good. Thanks for the welcome, Vayne.

EDIT: Sorry, I know I've posted this twice but the first time I forgot some information.

Hey Condemn, just a heads up. You won't have to PVe to be adequately geared in WvW. In fact you can craft in WvW and you get gear and coin drops, plus you get karma. So you really shouldn't have to PVe to gear up. Particularly because gear in GW 2 is less important than in many other games.

Merged threads. Please don't create multiple threads for the same guild. Feel free to edit the OP of your thread whenever you want to update or add any info, though.

Sorry Centaur, for some reason I couldn't find my original thread. And, @ Vayne, I know you can become geared purely from WvW badges and such, but from my experience thus far that takes much more time (I played WvW almost the entire beta weekend and got maybe 8~12 badges).
