Loving the feedback Vayne. Funny you should say that about Guild Wars 1...both Nick and I installed it last night.

    Thanks for listening!

Great to hear Vayne! I don't think you got carried away at all. We are going to be talking about some of the comments from this thread. We love the feedback. So far Guild Wars 2 seems to have a great community which is awesome!

Listening to your second podcast as we speak...and glad to help. On the topic of Guild Wars 1, particularly Prophecies, it's a very very slow build. You guys might have been better off starting in Nightfall or Factions cause it's much faster. Believe me when I tell you, Guild Wars 1 has more depth than most MMOs, but you have to get to it. Think of the leveling you go through in WoW to get to end game. By the time you further into Guild Wars 1, you start to see the depth. But the game doesn't really begin until you finish the storyline and get into hard mode and can start vanquishing and stuff.

Also remember, this game is 7 years old. It's Vanilla WoW.

Last topic, I wasn't at all upset with the WoW references, I played WoW and Rift, too. And Aion. I was being funny, because you asked people not to get mad at you for those references. Didn't you see my LOL when I said it? I have no problem with WoW references, and even encourage them, because it's the WoW players that NEED The indoctrination into Guild Wars 2.

Btw, you guys should take a look at my primer, if you're interested. It's sticked on the top of the general Guild Wars 2 info section. It's made for WoW players among other things. lol

On the topic of crafting and switching crafting professions, it's not a small little fee. It's a small little fee at the level you're currently at. That fee goes up, possibly way up as you have to reset more points.

Edit: Question on crafting and switching professions. People who want to do this themselves, just do different crafting professions on different characters. Particularly in a game like Guild Wars 2 where all storage is account wide. If you don't do it all one one character, you just do it on alts, so what's the big deal?

No worries man. We were totally kidding around too. We knew you were just messing around - hope it didn't come off differently

Looking forward to your thoughts as you continue to listen!

There are plenty of karma vendors around. Every time you finish a heart for example, the person associate with that heart becomes a karma vendor. The first things you buy go in your accessory slots and give you better stats. Make sure you don't miss these.
