That would be definitely awesome...I would love to play the Mesmer...I was wondering and maybe someone could help me out with a passive insight check but how have the announcements been made usually for the professions...Also, if the closed beta will be in 2011 and we only have 3 months left give a couple days...will there be a chance at the final profession being released upon the closed beta launce with the given potential that more people will play/test it?

Well, most of the professions were just announced when they were ready, on the official website and on a variety of gaming sites (with all kinds of interviews and Q&A's accompanying them).. Necro was announced shortly before Gamescom 2010, where it was actually playable, but most others didn't have any special events linked to them. Yes, they have said that they're still on schedule for closed beta before the end of this year, and they have also said that the final profession will be revealed before the end of the year, so I think it's safe to assume that that profession will be revealed before the closed beta starts, and that it will be playable in the closed beta.

Well, maybe they changed about 2 "soldiers" and 3 "scholars" into 3 "soldiers" and 2 "scholars. That way, the Paragon could come back.
For those wo comment like "Paragon was Elona, so it won't be it." : The order of whispers is also from Elona and are in Tyria now, so why not the Paragon?
It's onlikely, but would be nice.
A scholar profession using songs would also be nice.

So unless ANet is using Mesmers as an NPC profession only then there is no doubt that is the last job that has to be announced. And I doubt that personally since they have named and used all the profession in the books that will be in the game.

Well, we know that there are monks in the game as well, but not playable so that really doesn't prove anything (the ghosts of ascalon warriors use old GW1 builds apparently ).

Feeling tired? There's a nap for that.

Correct, among the ghosts in the Ascalonian dungeon you can find both monks and mesmers... all using old GW1 skill sets.

Umm, Order of Whispers expanded all over Tyria right after the events of Nightfall iirc, Sunspears and therefore paragons didn't.

Well of course Ghosts from the Foefire hit would use G1 builds...they were around BEFORE this game takes place.
