Crafting?

Just wondering if there are any news on crafting skills. I noticed in some clips of Rangers creating bonfires for flaming arrows, but are those fires for crafts like cooking?

Personally I enjoy crafting whether it's health potions, armor, or going out and hunting meat to cook.

We haven't really received many details surrounding crafting as of yet. One thing we do know is that the nodes for harvesting materials will be attached to players individually. So if you're out and about and find an iron node, you don't have to worry about it getting taken.

True. They've also said you won't have to create multiple, "throw away" copies of something just to level up. You only make it if you want to use it/sell it.

Crafting on the GW2 wiki <---very sparse, but very little has been said.
