[Luciform] Hardcore PvE/PvP Opens Recruitment For GW2

Luciform is a hardcore guild that was originally formed for TERA by a few members of [Nerf Dialogue], one of the top SWTOR 16m PvE guilds. While our stay in TERA was short due to multiple reasons, including but not limited to lack of endgame content and general disappointment in the game, we quickly and easily were distinguished as one of the top PvP and PvE guilds in the game. We are now focusing our sights on Guild Wars 2 in hope of a game that can have both a competitive PvP environment and generally be fun. We have an established core of Members that have both proven their commitment and capability as high-quality players, though we are looking to max out at around 50~75 players unless otherwise decided (as we prefer quality over quantity, yet still want the capability to field multiple teams when the need arises). Our Member's experience ranges from World Ranked PvE and PvP guilds in WoW, Rift, SWTOR, and many other MMOs to Members that have prior sponsored FPS and other non-mmo game experience, along with so much more. In short, all of our Members have very established backgrounds and are very capable players in the field of gaming. We will be focusing on all forms of PvP that GW2 offers, though we will also hardcore PvE content in our off times. We are EST based, though have (and will accept) gamers from all around the world (as long as they can show us they have the skill and commitment).

What We Want

We want more highly established gamers who have the background and skill to be an addition to our community so that we can dominate in GW2 in all fields. We want people who can play with a team, follow directions, and still have the personal skill that distinguishes themselves from the masses and even other "good" players. We are looking for people who have the time and commitment to min/max, research, theorycraft, and all around strive for greatness over others as an individual and a guild. We are not looking for One Man Armies, dramatic people, or people who we would not consider up to our level of skill. Our past pass/fail rates for Applications and Trial Memberships shows we are picky about who we accept. About 90+% of all Applicants or Trials failed at some point in our recruitment process (Application, Interview, Trial Period).

Why You Should Join

If you think yourself a highly skilled gamer and want to dominate as a guild, Luciform may be the right guild for you. If you want a guild where people will constantly challenge you in terms of skill instead of letting you down, we may be a good match for you. If you are looking for a hardcore guild that will commit itself to rising as high as it can in terms of skill, dedication, and overall hardcore attitude, you may want to apply.

As a general recommendation, if you are thinking about applying, PLEASE spend some time on your application. We have the luxury of picking and choosing, and it is very easy to deny poorly written applications. Also, do not lie. We have a plethora of gamers from all backgrounds. If you claim something fantastic and lie, we will find out.

As apparently a lot of our forum members look for guilds based on their own physical location, I do recommend adding the [EST-based] info to the title... that may help some possible recruits find you faster!

While we are EST based we have people from...well...everywhere. From East to West Coast, Germany, and even one in Singapore. In all honesty IDT we care as much where people are from as long as they are highly skilled and like minded at the levels we seek (Also, English IS a must).

As a side note to compact posts, we are openly recruiting all classes. We will not be restricting people for classes AS OF NOW (and will not for EXCEPTIONAL applications forever) though it will become harder and harder on a per-class basis as we fill up to what we want.

A note to Applicants (as applications have started to rollllllllllll). We quite often ask questions of our applicants. Answering these questions quickly and fully will help your application, while letting them hang as others answer may let your application be beaten out. Just be prepared for questions on your application!

Monday. A few days until BWE2. If you tried accessing our site over the weekend their was some issues, though it seems to be okay now. I would suggest dropping an application BEFORE Wednesday if you plan to put one in. For some odd reason, we have ridiculous luck on getting massive double digit application storms a day before a Beta Weekend in games. Spread the load and make my job easier!
