Your Top 10 Movies of All Time

You can also get to know someone by getting a bead on their taste in movies. Much like the video game thread, the list can probably change on any given day. So right now my top 10 list would be:

    300
    Requiem for a Dream
    Beowulf
    Aliens
    Lord of the Rings
    Black Swan
    Heavy Metal
    Transformers the Movie (1986)
    Gremlins
    Iron Man

    Honorable mentions go to:
The Crow, Sin City, Fight Club, Ninja Scroll, Troy, Equilibrium, Reservoir Dogs, A Clockwork Orange, Slumdog Millionaire

ugh, another Top 10. This one is actually a lot harder to do than my Top 10 Video Games. Here goes (no particular order as of now):

    Braveheart
    Ghostbusters
    Rebecca
    Casablanca
    Batman (1989)
    The Big Lebowski
    Mr. Smith Goes To Washington
    A Few Good Men
    Mission Impossible
    Lion King

    Fight Club
    Snatch
    Inglorious Bastards
    The Big Lebowski
    Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Get him to the Greek (I almost pissed myself while watching the latest 2)
    Crank
    Law Abiding Citizen
    Basic Instinct
Queen of the Damned/Interview with a Vampire ... sorted these 2 as one movie, as they are both parts of Vampire Chronicles.

I just threw the first 10 (11) movies that came to my mind that I liked, can't seem to focus/recall all the good ones atm.

My numbers 1 and 2 haven't changed in years, and I think it would be hard for a film to even try... thats said, the other films I list here are part of my top five/ten/fifteen/twenty often but sporatically... they're always the same movies, but never the same order from even hour to hour... plus its easier for something to qualify, though very few films actually do... also, I have a tendancy to count perfectly linear trilogy/sagas in a single place.

    Anyway, here we go:

    1. KINGDON OF HEAVEN
    2. THE LAST SAMURAI

    Taken
    Red Cliff
    In Bruges
    Watchmen
    The Postman
    The Book of Eli
    Best of the Best
    Three Musketeers (1993)
    The Dark Knight
    Saw (franchise)
    Lord of the Rings (trilogy)
    The Boondock Saints
    Full Metal Jacket
    States of Grace
    Sweeney Todd
    Braveheart
    Star Trek
    Gladiator

1 - Alien (how dare you choose Aliens over this masterpiece)
2 - Deadman (Do you have any tobacco?)
3 - The Big Lebowski (He peed on my rug man!)
4 - Princess Bride (As you wish)
5 - Monty Python and the Holy Grail (nee!)
6 - Full Metal Jacket (This is my rifle, this is my gun...)
7 - Brazil (Don't fight it son. Confess quickly! If you hold out too long you could jeopardize your credit rating.)
8 - Starship Troopers (Do you want to know more?)
9 - Fargo (Ohh! Yeah! Sure! You betcha!)
10-Clueless (Besides, the PC term is "Hymenally challenged")

(My apologies to Bladerunner, LoTR, Empire, Bad Taste... Tarantino, Howard Hughes, among many others... and even the Cohen brothers and Terry Gilliam for only having two of each of their films on my list)
