What Race Will Be Your Main Character

Sylvari.

All the races look interesting to me, barring the Asura, but the Sylvari choice was what drew me to GW2. My reasoning may be somewhat... strange:

1. Greenpeace Crolis from the anime Dominion Tank Police is a character which has always interested me, even if she was barely used in D:TP.
2. Pacifica from the manga Pixy Junket. The idea of a creature birthed in the roots of the world and being a living, sentient part of it.
3. The apparent gender antipathy of a plant people (although yes, I know that there are duosexual plants out there) is a theme I deal with in my own life and I find comfort in nonsexual/ambiguous characterisation.

I expect a few !!! to be raised at this one

Still haven't decided on which of my characters will be my "main" as I'm switching between them as I like.

So far I got:
- 1 Asura (Engineer)
- 2 Sylvari (Guardian, Ranger)
- 1 Human (Mesmer)
- 1 Norn (Thief)
but I guess I will complete the professions with an Asura Warrior, and Human/Norn Elementalist/Necromancer.

Prophecies and Eye of the North did a GREAT job to really make me dislike (if not hate) the Charr...

i always like to play humans but charrs can be interesting as well. if given enough time, i think i'll use it more.

I have to give it to the Sylvari. I just like their map and diversity.

Well after a month of concideration and lots of deleted characters, boring humans seem to be where I'm staying most, although Sylvari do come in a close second. I've tried several Charr and while I want to love one I just don't seem able to at the moment, maybe later.

.... though i'm not sure bout the thief maybe the asura... I"M SO CONFUSED

This is video game after all... One of the best MMORPG.... Make my fantasy become a reality...
