Light Knights (UK/EU Gaming Community)

Greetings all fellow Guild Wars fans!

The Light Knights are a UK/EU gaming community. Our members mainly fall into the 'mature' (mature as in a good cheese or a fine wine) category, being around the 25 - 50 age group, with a few fine exceptions of course! We welcome everyone over the age of 18.


Brief History and outlook:

We are a multi-gaming community, first established in 2008 in Lord of the Rings Online. We started out with only a handful of members and have since grown to around 20 - 30 regularly active members, expanding our interests into a variety of different games. We have guilds in LoTRO, WoW and SWTOR, and our very own BF3 server. A lot of us have strong interests in single-player RPGs and FPS games, and we love sharing our enthusiasm for these via our lively forums. We have our own Teamspeak server, and whether we are gaming or not, there is always some sort of happy banter going on!


Our community's mission:

Our overall community mission is to provide a place that focuses on fun, merriment and friendship. We like to game with a beer in hand, fulfilling that fine balance of having fun but also achieving the stuff we want to in-game. We hold real-life meet ups that have encouraged friendships to form and give people moments to remember. Some of our raiding nights / BF3 nights have given members times they won't forget.


What we're about in GW2:

We will be running a guild in GW2, and are looking for excited adventurers to join us. Our focus will be a mixture of PvE and PvP/WvW and FUN (random guild events, anyone?). We have a number of people who enjoy doing both. Quite a few people in our community have pre-purchased the game, and we're really excited! The wait until the August release is going to be a long one...
