Intensely loyal and love to help

Hello! I would really like to join a community that has a mix of players (pvp junkies, rp lore-fiends, casual players etc.). Playing with a core group and making friends is paramount to me when playing any game. I don't have any IRL friends (lol at that sentence if you stop reading there) that will be playing the game. I live in the eastern timezone and will be playing often. However, my first child was just born... so often is a relative term. My sense of humor tends to win people over more than anything else. I enjoy playing many roles, but I love helping and advancing the group more than anything. In college I played WoW in mainly a support class role (druid healer). I also enjoyed leveling up 6 other characters to level 80 with friends from the guild and those I know personally. While there is no true support class in gw2... I will definitely be an asset to any guild. Need some supplies that I have? Not a problem, because if it is the type of guild I'm looking to join, I know you will help me out when you can. Please feel free to ask me any questions to find out if your guild and I are a good fit!

Greetings Grohlier! Welcome to the forums!

You obviously were describing Caedas as much as yourself! No IRL friends playing the game? Who needs them with a tight knit community like our own!

Feel free to check us out, hop in vent or PM me for more information and get to know us. I for one, see a bright future ahead of you in Caedas!

Hello and welcome to the forums Grohlier!

I admire the attitude of which you carry yourself. The fact that you understand that sometimes the guild needs take precedence over your own (in-game of course, never should it take place over IRL responsibilities), shows that you are already one step ahead of the curve!

Should you choose to play on the Eternal Grove server; I would like to promptly invite you to our guild Sonata. The link provided below will describe a bit about Sonata, as well as how I run it. We're always looking for a new voice to hear from be they potential members or individuals willing to leave feedback so that we may improve. We do expect moderate activity from our members (try not to be a ghostly member!). Should you have any questions, concerns or feedback to give we're always open to hearing it. We are also aligned with six other guilds with the aim of maintaining activity during all hours of the day. I wish you the best in your deliberations on which guild fits your preferences best!

What a shame he didn't wait to see who else would reply.

Well, obviously you would say that.

And before anyone makes the assumption that I'm annoyed on a personal level... nope. We're within 20 slots of hitting our cap of 100 members, so we aren't wanting for good recruitment.

I just think it's a flat-out shame when people go to the first guild that says hello to them.

Hey Grohlier and welcome to those forums. I for one am happy you found a guild, and since further conversation on this topic is completely unnecessary, I'll be closing this thread. I wish you luck in your new home.
