Or so we would like to think. Created in the GW1 beta, exported to various games like (but not limited to) LotRO, WAR, AION, AoC and SW:TOR we now come full circle and claim our place amongst the proud and eager guilds of Guild Wars 2.

We aim for fun! - to achieve this we have created a family-friendly and mature climate with the respect for our guildies and fellow players alike. Where a helpful and honest gameplay brings us closer as a guild.

Ya' know... it's all true

Though we have a presence in a few other games each chapter don't tend to be overly large. At peak moments of existence it may be around 50 not including alts, during our lows we end up at around 15. Guild Wars 2 allows a myriad of ways to play the game and we intend to get involved in as many as we possibly can. RFI have a tendency to be more about PvE then PvP, but I know we already have a few members who are very eager to battle out in WvWvW, and stay there. Many of our members tend to spend quite a few hours on-line playing, though we label ourself "casual" in that meaning that we do not go for a hardcore raiding play style.

4 things that are good to know:
* We are looking for anyone who think that fun is about playing the game, helping others when they can and generally having a good time rather then seeing the game as some kind of hardcore virtual work.
* Since we have members from all over Europe, we use English as the common language.
* Though age is but a number, most if not all, of our members are 18+ and we think that this is a good starting age for our new members.
* RFI is a democratic guild. Once the guild is established our members choose their leader and officers by nomination and voting.

On another forum I got a PM about how the elections work, so I thought I was gonna take the opportunity to explain that in here as well.

The Election
We also proud ourselves as a democratic guild. In other guilds the guild it self may stand and fall by the activities of the self-proclaimed leader and officers. RFI do thing's a bit different.
When we enter a new game we set up an interim leadership to get things started. It's composed of people that has been in the guild for sometime and know our ways. Then after about 2-4 months we hold an election, where everyone with member status can nominate any of our members to the positions of leader and officers. New elections can be held at the new leader's choice later on, if e.g. an officer have to step down, a new one is elected as above.

During this last BWE you can find us on the Desolation Server. Whether or not this will be our "live server" is yet to be determined. A bit heads up though. Most of our members have chosen not to play in the BWE's claiming they want a "clean" start. Personally I have no idea of what they are talking about

Hello everyone!

Wanted to drop an update on what's going on. Since the game launched we have had a great time getting to know the game and each other. I'm happy to say that some of our members has found us though this and other forums where we have had postings in. The initial hiccups with the game only drew up closer and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that it take far more then that to dampen our spirits. We have, after all, waited so many years for this game.
We have had a few gatherings of which one took some note when we brought on the almighty Pineapple to the streets of LA. Member wise we are just about 40 people in the guild at present and though we are not actively recruiting in-game we still grow little by little. Just how we want it. Age wise the members of this chapter is 25 and above (our 18+ is still active but just so you know what you will be dealing with if you join )
Far from everyone in the guild has reached 80 yet. Some might just note have time enough to play as much while others like to just chill around or explore. A few have set their minds towards the Legendary weapons and all the work that comes with it, yet others are happy with the exotic they got and killing zombies on the fly.
We are still somewhat in a extended honeymoon state where elections are still around one month away.

RFI is somewhat a forum driven guild. We are proud to have our forums and we like to use it. Like any other forum, it's a great place to not only read on what's going on and participate in discussions, game and non-game alike, but also, most impotently, tell the staff what you want the guild to do, what dungeons/quests and so on you need.
