Although we are primarily an RP guild, guild chat is not IC.

Our first and main focus is community building , gaining friends through gaming together and enjoy the content of GW2.

We are looking for mature members and when I say that i mean attitude more than actual age.
Drama is not tolerated.

Added due to being asked - We are primarily a North American Guild, not exclusively, we operate with members from all over USA, Canada , Australia and even Dominican Republic.

Guild leaderships gaming times tend to be based on Central US time frames. But not exclusive to.

Hi Shinjo, I'd like to welcome you and Ji`e`toh to this forum, and I wish you good luck recruiting.

I do have two questions:

1. What's the main region/time zone of this guild? Quite a few people apparently look for guilds based on their own location, so having that info in the thread (and I recommend adding it to the title as well) would make it a lot easier for them to find you.

2. Do you have a specific RP theme, or will you just RP within the context of what the game is offering?

2. I would not dream of telling people what to Rp, we are however based as a mercenary guild, what follows is an extract from our history.

Who are we?

Ji`e`toh is a name taken from Robert Jordens wheel of time, it is a language called 'the old tongue" and means "Honor"-Ji and "Obligation"- toh. So "Honor and Obligation".

Ji`e`toh is a mature members only guild dedicated to the game Guild Wars 2, We diverse into all apsects of the game, whether that be PVP, PVE progression or RP. We make our home on the unofficial RP server "Tarnished Coast" and seek to help engage and foster the RP environment apon the server and its communities.

Our goal is to form a close bond within the guild and its members, to make new friends and enjoy the online GW2 experience as a group.

(Honor and obligation)

A history of Ji`e`toh

The buildings lay in ruin, the fires burn low upon what remains of the once
sturdy housing of Sarnum; a small town a day’s ride from Divinities Reach.

The people cried out in urgency for the Krytan Militia to respond to the threat
to their peaceful village, none came.

The Ministry Guard did not respond, for their concern lies with the wealthy
and privileged of Divinities Reach and its outlying settlements.

The Seraph did not respond, perhaps they would of if they could, but they were too
Embroiled in the politics that now engulfs their fair city, finding the Ministry
Guard barring their way, and spending as much time side stepping the ministry as they
do keeping the peace.

The Shining Blade, too few in numbers to respond to a call of aid in outlying
villages...in time.


Standing atop a hill Graele removes his hood and walks down to the village.
Too late he had been sent along with his small squad. Removing the emblem of
The Shining Blade from his cloak he bows his head. "We are no use to the people
of our lands if we are not amongst them to hear their needs, we have an obligation
to our people and our neighbours and if we are of honor we will meet that obligation."

Turning to his squad his intentions clear to them all "Duty is as heavy as
a mountain, Death as light as a feather" He breaths deeply. "It is time the people
have someone to turn to who does not have to wait for permissions and authorization,
I shall help those whom ask for it, and accept what little they can offer in recompense,
I shall accept all whom come offering their sword arm in all honor and understand their
obligation.
Humans, Sylvari, Asura, and Norn...even Charr, whatever their birth right may be, if they will
join with me in this, I shall have them and they shall belong"

He drops his shining blade emblem upon the soil, and turns back to the village.

He hears the soft sound of those behind him also dropping their emblems to the ground; He smiles grimly.

About Myself

I am 32 years old, I am Australian born and grew up on the west coast near a city called Perth.
I currently live in Arkansas USA and work in the oil field.

I'm a long time gamer and have been hooked on MMO's since the release of Guild Wars 1.
I am married to a beautiful women whom is a gamer also, and I must say it sure is a great thing to have
quality time and it be side by side at a computer screen :-).

Appreciate it, but it would not let me alter the thread title, so I wasn't given many options but to redo it.
I tried several times to alter the heading in an effort to be more concise, but it would never change it permanently, so i re-did the whole thing. Thanks for merging it though.
