Competent player LF competent NA guild [Ex WoW and LoL player, PVX, WvWvW]

I'm a seasoned gamer and a very desent MMO player as well. My 1st MMO that I enjoyed immesly was WoW. I played for 12+ hours almost everyday trying to improve my knowledge and skill. Unfortunately when I came aboard it was the end of Wrath and the beginning of Cata. I didn't mind Cata but felt very empty playing it compared to the short time during in Wrath. So I quit, searching for other MMOs that caught my taste but never filled the void. Saw guild wars 2 and was in love with the very 1st BWE. Now knowing that this will be my game of choice I am looking to settle in a guild, after all MMOs are meant to be played with others, None of my friends are interested so I'm flying solo in this venture, ok now for the good bits.

What I'm after?

A guild that is very easy going but at the same time cares about their image in the PvE and PvP aspects of the game. I have delt with guilds who are either just easy going and basically become a chat room, or are so hardcore that they don't care about giving a new person a chance. A balance would be nice.

Bonus points for having set groups/teams for respective PvP and PvE aspects of the game.

I don't really care about the size of the guild as long as I'm not the only one online for days at a time.

Having room to improve within the guild by promotion or other means is mildly important so I feel like that I make an impact within the group and people notice my improvments.

What I can offer?

Experience with MMO structure video games and the capability to teach myself aspects that I might not know. I am not helpless when it comes to figuring out the game itself and can adapt acordingly if needed to. I'm level headed and very strategic when it comes to PvE and PvP.

On a lighter note I am very patient and easy going when it comes to people and will most of the time give you the benefit of the doubt. I welcome new people and will give them a chance if they ask for it. More often then naught I have fallen ass 1st into some sort of role that I have had no experience in or had to help lead people and have done well with the little time I have had to adapt to it.

Ok what are you in real life?

Well I'm 19 and currently live in Michigan, desperately wanting to leave as soon as I get the chance, My passion is the computer field. I have skills in networking, programming, Visual Design, and Web Development (even made money in those things). I hope to get a degree in programming since that is my main passion.

Whats the catch?

Well as I said I am 19 so I am currently attending college and that always comes 1st, I will try to log on at least once a day but if I can't go with a group for PvX or WvW then 90% of the time its school related. I currently do not have a job, I want to get in the rhythm of college before I get a job so my schedule is school then free time.

Time in WoW

I have been within a Guild in WoW called Believe The Hype on the US Illidan server. The guild itself was very friendly and expierenced, but you could not do a guild raid or join in guild pvp if the members really didn't know you in real life. My friend worked his ass off to get where he got which wasn't very far. I managed to talk to some of the higher ranked people and play with them and they were brilliant but again they never really gave strangers a chance. I looked around in other servers and guilds trying to find a good fit but could never find one.

I have been a DPS, and healer and even tho guild wars 2 doesn't have the trinity it just means that i can figure out how to kill things quickly or help the team out if needed to.

2 things I learned and follow faithfully are:

1. "No matter how high of damage or DPS you did, Dead DPS is no DPS."
2. "I'd rather have someone who does little damage but follows directions and doesn't die than someone who does high damage but doesn't listen and dies all the time."

I managed to do multiple raids and pvp arenas and battlegrounds so I won't be a stranger to pvp or pve.

What will you play in Guild Wars 2

The race will either be Sylvari or Asura, and the classes will be necro, elementalist, guardian, Warrior, and thief.
