Addendum*
I've been thinking a lot lately while preparing my guild for launch. Raiding with Scissors has always been a pretty PvE focused guild in the games we've played. We've certainly invested in the PvP aspect of virtual reality. What we've lacked, however, are the hardcores. The PvP focused players. It is this reason I'm reaching out to the community.
Raiding with Scissors wants to bolster its ranks with high quality PvP players who are looking to be a part of a larger community of gamers. We do not want elitist jerks. We want elitist friends. What RWS wants is PvPers who will give us a constant presence in WvWvW.
RWS is devoted to being a very strong force in WvWvW. We've reached out to many other guilds who have declared Ehmry Bay as their realm and created a server forum devoted to creating communication and coordination amongst the guilds on our server. We are prepared to devote significant resources to WvWvW and to create a culture of competitive PvP.
To accomplish our goals for GW2 we need you. We need the PvPers. We will give you a home you will not forget and will want to represent.

Raiding with Scissors is a long standing gaming community ripe with diversity, skill, and love. We got our start in 2008 with a small WoW guild started with 2 things in mind: We were tired of dumb players and we were tired of rude players.
People change. Species evolve. Guilds are no different. These days we welcome newcomers with open arms. We understand that we were all there at one point. We love to teach and love to support. Obviously we don't put our eggs in the wrong basket as some people do not have the will to learn and improve. To those people we say "nay." To the vast majority of you, we say "sup."

RwS dabbles in many a virtual reality. From WoW and LoL to BF3 and GW2 and some ridiculous games I've never even heard of. We have a steam group and a facebook group that sees action every day. I've made many VERY good friends via this guild, many of whom I've met in that thing they call real life. Some of them, I've slept with. Err, my point is, we are a community. Games live. They die. A community lasts as long as the people in them do not contract a deadly virus.
Our goal in GW2 will be to promote a sense of community. To give back to the people. You give me justice points. I'll give you additional XP per hour. You represent, I'll give you a hanje. If you love us, we will love you right back.
Our primary focus will be WvWvW and sPvP. PvE in GW2 is going to be amazing and we will certainly have our way with it. However, the competition within the game lies in the PvP and we are here to compete. Our goal, PvP wise, will be to have a significant impact on WvWvW each and every day. Whether we have 4 people logged on at 2AM or 75 at 7. We will have our impact.
