    Skill Updates

    For those people here who also still play the original Guild Wars, this may be relevant news... once in a while, the Live Team does some skill updates. The latest update was the Dervish update, which received its own thread. Most updates are smaller, and I will try to collect those in this thread.

    The first such updates that I will post here, is yesterday's skill update preview (2011-03-17):

    In an update next week, we will address some PvP issues that came up as a result of our latest Dervish update. To give our tournament players time to plan ahead, we’re releasing all the skill-related update notes in advance. After the last MAT, we decided to tone down several Dervish skills that proved to be stronger than intended. Additionally, this update will address the power of Blood Magic Necromancers and some other builds that have gotten a little out of line. Finally, we will make a few small buffs to Mesmers and Elementalists.

    Anet, you dun'it again. My main computer is broke (messed up mobo = pain where the sun don't shine )' and you plan to release an update.

    Well, it seems to be much more nerfing than buffing so it seems like I'm not missing much. They made attunements 1sec cast times, which is really nice, it's so annoying when heroes start lagging 2 earshots away because it takes them so long to enchant themselves. I might bring shatter enchant/hex after this on my mesmer-nuke team builds as well, now that the energy cost is reasonable.
