Lightbulb Post your build, and why you picked it!

I did not see any type of 'build compilation' thread so I figured people could post their builds here using one of the skill builder sites and also post why they chose that path.

It would be nice to see other Necro's ideas behind the skills/traits/weapons they want to use to have more build ideas floating around. This is a rough outline of what mine will be

The idea is condition damage and frequent Death Shroud. It seems it will have high survivability between life steal/life on crits/heavy use of Death Shroud as well as decent damage. Still unsure of secondary weapon slot but staff seems to work nice because of the long range. Still workin on this but this seems to be close to what I want to do

Honestly I don't like your build.

Signet of spite, while powerful, doesn't last very long and has a long cooldown. If you want to be hitting with feast of corruption constantly to build life force, you probably want to put a longer term bleed on your target, something like blood is power, which gives you a lot of life force, allows you to heal with consume condition, and allows you to spam feast of corruption for more consistent damage, rather than just a big burst every 90 seconds. Similarly, you might want to change poison cloud for corrupt boon, since this will also tend to make feast hit harder, as well as weakening your opponents.

If you did that, you could change out one of your curse traits for Hemophilia, since you have 3 bleeds, all of them lasting 20% longer is a good thing. Weakening shroud might be nice as well.

Death shroud's cooldown is only 10 seconds, not sure how reducing to 5 is really gonna help, additionally, since your build is designed to build life force quickly, you might consider the Unyielding blast over Vital Persistence, since you want to get into DS, spam your skills and get out to reapply your bleeds as often as possible, so maybe the cooldown ability could still be useful.

Thanks for the comments I agree some of the traits and utilities need some work (i did them kinda quickly so some of them can definitely be changed) I do like the idea of using corrupt boon, dont think i realized how well it could work with my build! The idea behind the DS cooldown reduc was so that you can go in and out of it quickly for the extra life regain here and there. If your build is similar feel free to post it so I could maybe get some ideas on how i may make mine better

I'm not so sure the info on that site is correct. Seemed to me they changed the necromancer traits. I know during the stress test on august 2nd a lot of those traits were not available to me when I tried to create my build in sPvP.

Edit: I think it might just be because that site allows you to put master/grandmaster .. etc traits in the lower tier slots ( like a 30 point spite trait into the 10 point trait slot )

For me, there is no 'build'...

..only a series of options that are crafted into an awesome whole as the situation demands..

..before being obliterated into nothingness, ready to be combined once more when required!

    I'll be honest..

..the soundtrack that goes with it kicks total ass*.

*..for given values of 'kicks' 'total' and 'ass.'

Yea im not sure the info is up to date. Regardless the skills are there as well as the traits (again although they may be different at this point) so peolpe still must have an idea of builds

Lets see more build links! Mines the only one even if just a very quick and rough outline, always fun to see other perspectives

For full time melee necromancer in both pve and pvp. All 3 stats power, toughness, and healing power benefit each other through traits and will boost each other no matter which I focus on when modding armor /weapons. Help to create equilbrium stat wise in stats I will need while not making 1 side more powerful than the other. The 2 offhands both have debuffs to offer whic will both tilt that fight in a necromancers favor and keep them close by.
