Looking for an EU (UK?), old(ish), PVE (mainly), Serious(ish) Guild

    Hi all,

As we've hit launch month I'm trying to figure out which (EU) server to join.

Although there is cross-server play (yay!) my main choice effecting which server to join would be where a guild I might like to join is based.

I'm in the UK so am looking for an English speaking guild that would be playing on an EU server and presumably playing during the appropriate times.

I'm in my 20s (just turned 27) so I'm looking for one that's also, preferably, only for people over 18 or maybe even just post-uni aged people.

I play a lot of games, recently was a bit disappointed by D3 - though hoping GW2 will abate that heartache. Used to play WoW in the burning crusade days and really liked being in quite a tight-knit guild then. I actually joined that one because there was a bunch of people I kept playing with and they were all in that guild and so it suited well. So ideally would like to find a guild in the same manner but to give myself as good a chance as possible I want to choose the right world on the 25th.

Obviously with the Guild bonuses in GW2 then it'd be great to be in a quite active guild that'd rack up a lot of influence.

I'm probably going to be a bit more focused on PvE than PvP, always been that way, so not looking for one of those super PvP orientated guilds. (That said, I am liking the WvWvW, and associated bonuses so am playing on pulling my weight on that account).

As for myself, like I said I'm 27, in the UK, like a lot of music (was just metal and punk when I was younger but I've branched out a lot since then), quite in art, still skate a little, lived in Japan for a few years (into martial arts and anime and whatnot).

So yeah, if anyone has a world/guild recommendation then please let me know.

    Cheers,
    Rob

    Hi Barcs / Rob

Mandalorian Forge are a small, close knit community who have members playing several games. We are looking for more members to join our ranks for GW2. We are EU based and are looking to roll on Lakeside County, having had good fun there and met some great people both in PvE and WvW.

Most of our members are "older" gamers with families and responsibilities, so we know that real life sometimes has to come first. Saying that, we are serious about what we do and want to make a name for ourselves both in PvE and in WvW. We value the quality of our membership over pure quantity and try to recruit people who we genuinely believe will fit in and add to our atmosphere.

We have active forums, our own Mumble channel and friendly members from all over Europe. Please check out our website http://www.mandalorianforge.com or send me a PM for more information.

    Cheers

We are a UK/EU English language 18+ family feel guild that you may wish to check out. A snippet from our Charter:

The Order of the Rose-Croix is a mature and friendly guild that has been active in many online games since October 2001. During our existence, we have striven to forge a guild that that would stand out among other guilds, not by sheer size of numbers, but by the quality of the players in the guild, and their commitment to helping others in-game whether they are a part of the guild or not. The guild has defined itself as a haven for those gamers who prefer a more relaxed, fun and casual guild. Although we are very strict with our ethics in-game, we only do so to ensure that members are safe to play in an environment that fosters a friendly, family feel

Good luck finding a new home, and I hope you have a fantastic time in GW2
