Forbidden is a group of online gamers; friends that are so close we are more like family. We joke, play and generally have a good time. We take our commitment to the family seriously however, and show each other respect and honesty. We make the best of every day we have together.

We are aiming for a casual gaming atmosphere with a bit of the hardcore values and attitude. Focusing primarily on PvE, WvW and crafting, we also have plans to dabble in sPvP and RP aspects as well. We really want to completely immerse ourselves in the world around us with our most trusted friends by our side.

We put in the effort to be the best we can be in all aspects of gameplay but we do so respectfully. We strongly believe that you can be the best as something without belittleing those that you beat. Competition can be healthy and fun too!

Forbidden was founded in March of 2011 by a couple very much in love; of whom had met on an online game and traveled great distance to be together. Myself and my now husband Sylok formed Forbidden in hopes of making a guild that the game we played had never seen. A Guild based on friendship, respect, family, and an overall common goal of enjoyment of the game we played.

Forbidden started out in Red Stone; a low population 2.5d MMORPG. We quickly grew to be one of the most powerful guilds in the game. Upon being founded we quickly rose through the ranks and became one of only 4 guilds in competition for the one and only level 5 guild hall in the game. Our guild's organizational methods and rank system had been foreign to the community of Red Stone. We sought out a very special kind of gamer to welcome into our family.

Prior to founding Forbidden, Guild Master LLunatic also led a couple other Guilds in Red Stone. Divinity from November 2007- March 2010 as well as, for a short time Onslaught (which was later merged into Divinity).

Forbidden's time in Red Stone has passed (though some of us do occasionally still play from time to time) and we have set our sights on making our home in Tyria.

Forbidden was a guild founded on the morals of respect and trust. We are friends first and foremost; a group of helpful and like-minded individuals that just enjoy playing together. We are active, social and laid back. We want to explore all Guild Wars 2 has to offer together, learning and growing together as a Family in beautiful Tyria.

As we learn more about the world around us we will be working together to stockpile a collection of guides and information about the game. As a team we will share our knowledge and experience with each other to better the group as a whole. We are a group that when it comes down to the nitty gritty, we will stand united shoulder to shoulder together in battle and fight till the death.

~Forbidden recruitment is based on an application process. Please be sure to completely fill out your application using the application template provided.

~Forbidden is an English speaking guild. All communication will be in English. Please be sure you are able to fluently speak/type/understand English before applying.

~Respect is a huge part of what it means to be one of The Forbidden. Show it, know it, live it. Whether with our guild mates or other members of the Guild Wars 2 community, follow the golden rule. Treat others how you want to be treated. Trolls are not welcome. The world has enough trolls, we want our home to be a troll free zone.

~Maturity is something we seek while looking for new Forbidden members; however we believe that maturity is not limited by age. With this in mind, we do not have a strict age limit in place while recruiting. Strong language may be a common occurrence. You have been warned.

~Forbidden is an exclusive guild. Should you choose to be one of The Forbidden, please remain loyal. We are aware that Guild Wars 2 allows for people to multi guild, however we choose to remain exclusive to maintain the family like atmosphere.

~Forbidden has chosen only to recruit on our home world *Yak's Bend*. If you are accepted please be prepared to play on our server.

~If you are accepted into Forbidden, you will be expected to be active in it. Join us on our guild forums, RaidCall channel, and in game. Be social with the other members; as we all look forward to enjoying your company!

~Being an experienced gamer is an asset, but in no way a necessity. We at Forbidden encourage gamers new and old to join us as we believe no matter how much you know, there is always something new that you can learn or teach to others.

~Every member of Forbidden has a voice and we expect you to use it. Help the group grow together by giving your input and being social with us.
