    Where to buy town clothes?

Hello, I've been trying to find out where I can buy town clothes but I'm finding little. I was told you buy it from the gem stores but I only found a few silly outfits there such as the pirate suit and ringmasters hat. I'm going to be RPing in GW2 so it's important I have lots of fancy clothes since I'm going to be a noble, and I can't stand the default town clothes! Do any of you know where to buy them? Thanks!

its the gem store or armor you'll find through out the game that you can customize to your preferences... However, I believe the gem store will have a lot more fashion in it at launch, and I'm sure they'll update it regularly to keep the cash flow maximized

There are default town clothes. Just click on the button and there you are. (Can't engage in combat when wearing them.)

I wouldn't expect tons of town clothes at launch. I think eventually there will be a lot though.

I was disappointed to learn that cash shop fashions cannot be worn in combat. It's certainly made me think twice about buying any, though I'm sure I'll cave when I see something really nice in there.

    Isn't there some tailoring profession?

If so, will it be able to make town clothes?

I would be perfectly fine taking a profession that is purely for aesthetic products: though second to cooking, mind you.

Whenever I'm doing the cook profession in town I wear town clothes. They are also great for jumping challenges and just strolling around if your classy enough.

When you create a character you get a default set of town clothes based on your race. The only way to get more outfits is through the gem store as far as I'm aware.

The tailor profession only allows you to craft light armor, a few misc. things like runes and inventory bags.

Also, you can run around in town clothes as much as you want but as soon as you are attacked or attack it will automatically switch back to your armor and weapon set.

It's a bit unfortunate that some professions get better looking armor than others, but I realize that's personal opinion.
