The Expedition [XP] is home to skilled adventurers

We are a small, casual group of gamers that balance
our real life responsibilities and gaming on a daily basis.
We are all about exploring our games in and out, in both PvE and PvP,
trying new things, delving into different aspects of the game,
all for the value of "the experience" over "the reward."
With work, school, families, friends, RL responsibilities,
and peak daily gaming hours from EST to PST,
we are fully capable of sustaining ourselves on our solo adventures;
however, we support our teammates in both skill and morale
when we do adventure together.

Further Insight Into [XP]

What do you mean by "True PvX", "Real Life", and "Explorer Mentality"?
As stated above, we embrace the entirety of the game. We aren't just "open" to the idea of PvE and PvP, we experience it daily. Every day our members are found to be in a dungeon, in WvW, doing jumping puzzles, or sPvP/tournaments. In addition, we hold some dedicated achievement-hunters who strive to rack up points via dailies, monthlies, and explorer achievements. Again, each member is hardcore at heart, and has learned to manage Real Life with gaming, allowing them to play all aspects of GW2 at their own pace and leisure.

What should you expect as a member in our community?
[XP] lives off the social nature of our members. You should expect as much out of our community as you put in yourself. We have people on Ventrilo every day, and forums provide ample offline communication. If you reach out to us, we will respond! As a guild, we find "fun" in the random shenanigans we experience together rather than using each other as a vehicle for personal progression.

We have a core of 20-25 people logging in every day out of a roster of 35, even though we are casual, with members often letting us know about travel/vacation/afk plans.

Our top 5 group activities include:
1. Dungeons (Story and Explorables)
1. World vs World (as frequent as Dungeons)
3. Jumping Puzzles and Exploration Achievements
4. Special Event Activities
5. Tier 6 material zone runs

Our top 5 member goals include:
1. Looking Sexy (Armor/Dye Fashion thread is off the charts)
2. Achievement Points
3. Helping people's progressions (storyline, achievements, etc.)
4. Pwning in Wuvwuv and sPVP
5. Legendaries

Our top 5 most frequent conversations:
1. "How do I look?" - Armor conversations and dye trading
2. How many ways we can mispronounce orichalcum ("or-cha-chal-chum!")
3. Making fun of Charles sobby mesmer or Twitchii's random outbursts
4. Awkward jokes, flirts, and innuendos
5. Upcoming game changes, official forum dev post/rumors, etc.

A lot of our members have core RL friends/spouses/SO's in the guild, with plenty of room for "friends of guilds" that are even more casual than we are. With no officer roles/responsibilities, the members are the ones that make this community so great.

We span East to West coast, and we have a few late-night East coasters. So pretty much any NA primetime.

Transfer fees are up, but new accounts with 0 characters can transfer for free.

Gate of Madness is doing well for our guild. We have members doing wuvwuv, dailies, s/tpvp, dungeons, and farming every day while under a casual, social atmosphere. Ventrilo is a must as much of our fun shenanigans occur while everybody is focused on their personal goals within the game.

There are free transfers to Gate of Madness until April 1.

Our current roster is 34 with roughly 20 on daily. Nightchill heads our WvW efforts for our guild, Rex is guiding efforts in tourney PvP, and the others bounce around dungeons, spider farms, and random guild shenanigans.

Forums and shoutbox are popping throughout the work day, great for coffee break reading!

The server is coming together nicely within WvW, with the Mad Alliance. Very fair fights in our Tier.
