Kinda in a bad spot atm. In the Army, on leave, just left Korea and won't have my stuff until mid Sep. Have a brand new laptop and spent 5 days downloading the game just so I could play. Long story short, looking for a PvE Guild that is looking to get the Explorer title first. I won't have much time to game a day since I'm spending most of my time with my kdis but during the beta that's all I pretty much did was just try to get every area possible as fast as possible. Looking to play a Sylvari Engineer (even though they're very weak, first char was norn engineer) as main, Human Necro as secondary (since I played necro in GW and a lil necro during beta).
Pretty much all about rushing points to capture and moving to next one on map. So if this is something your guild is looking for let me know. cptspauldinggoe (was part of a great guild years ago in GW Glob of Ectoplasm which pretty much started speed runs and all profession runs just for fun) at gmail is the best way to get in touch with me.

About Defiance:

Defiance is a growing community that has it's roots in Planetside (1 and 2) and have decided to open up a Guild Wars 2 chapter. We have a long standing community with many active members that have enjoyed each others company across multiple games. Our leadership are even tempered and fair, we don't yell and scream at people like I am sure everyone has experienced.

While we have a good core of people we are looking to expand those numbers in Guild Wars 2 and bring a powerful force of players into WvW. We have opportunity for advancement for the right individuals as well. We pride ourselves on our teamwork and focused attitude towards gaming. Many of our leaders and members are prior military and we try to bring that sense of teamwork and dedication to whatever game we are playing.

Our GW2 Mission:

The mission of Defiance in Guild Wars 2 will be to become a top contender in our World in all categories. We will of course be focusing on Dungeons, PvP, and WvW for this. While we are not going to break our backs to try to get a bunch of World First dungeon clears and such we want to build a guild that will put in the effort to be competitive with the top guilds.

Recruitment Status:

At this time we are quite hopeful that ArenaNet's plan of getting rid of the "unholy trinity" will be successful. We are openly recruiting all classes and roles at this time.
