Ok, Arenanet has already announced that Guild Wars 2 will be free-to-play. Since that announcement, there have been little details surrounding the pricing structure of the game. One would assume they'll simply adopt the frequent expansion model like they did for the original game.
However, Guild Wars was heavily instanced which allowed them to take in gamers for free. With a fully persistent world, with massive servers, one wonders how F2P will work. Will they go with micro-transactions like they've been doing with Guild Wars in the later years?
Will we see updates which require a small purchase?
How do you think A-Net will handle being able to provide 'play for free', while maintaining what is sure to be massively populated servers?
