Hello.

I'm a guy in his mid-twenties working a 9a-5p (CST) job that likes to game in his free time. Currently, I'm able to log about 20 hours per week, give or take. I've been gaming since I was a kid across a wide range of genres (FPS, RTS, RPG, etc.) I have moderate experience with MMOs which consists mostly of SWG & SWTOR. Sorry, no GW1 or WoW in my gaming resume.

I'm looking for a casual, preferably smaller guild that has an emphasis on hanging out, helping each other along in the game, and having a good time. I don't want a guild that barks orders around and takes the game too seriously. Nor do I care for a guild where I'm just lost in the numbers.

Also, I'm currently attached to a very close group of friends that I'd be bringing along with me. Four of us in all, including me. We chill in our vent server almost every night and just BS the evenings and weekends away. Good times!

Who We Are: Xen of Onslaught is a WvW-focused PvX guild with a history of dominating in the original Guild Wars where we had the distinction of being one of the few NA guilds to make it to the world championships and being selected by Arenanet as the Guild of the Week. About Defiance:

Defiance is a growing community that has it's roots in Planetside (1 and 2) and have decided to open up a Guild Wars 2 chapter. We have a long standing community with many active members that have enjoyed each others company across multiple games. Our leadership are even tempered and fair, we don't yell and scream at people like I am sure everyone has experienced.

While we have a good core of people we are looking to expand those numbers in Guild Wars 2 and bring a powerful force of players into WvW. At this time we are quite hopeful that ArenaNet's plan of getting rid of the "unholy trinity" will be successful. We are openly recruiting all classes and roles at this time. Sanguiphoria is a guild about making new friends, and having high adventure with a strong focus on teamwork, desire and commitment.

We are an Eastern Time Zone based WvW, PvP, PvE, Raiding and Light RP Guild.

We seek new friends that will play together and achieve together in a friendly casual atmosphere with a hard core devotion. We seek those with past MMO, PvP and Raiding experience. Light role-play is available to enhance the gaming atmosphere but, it is not "required" to be in character. We wish to achieve balance between all the styles of play but at or near “end game” the focus will lean toward PvP and Raiding.

Wow, lots of copy/paste spam here. My sympathies.

[RIP] is 94 members strong and we aim to play the same way that you've described. We prioritize hanging out in vent, having a good time, teasing each other, and making playing in a guild an enjoyable/rewarding experience. We're all tired of dealing with stressed out raid leaders who'd rather scream at all the members instead of playing a game with them.

We're just looking to lounge and make some friends that we can look forward to playing with each evening. Most of us have extensive gaming backgrounds and are anticipating some good PvP/WvW play to go along with the PvE battles. While we are a bit vulgar at times, it's all in fun.
