    Best Food Ever

All the threads seem kinda old right now. I mean parse this and theorycraft that-- blah blah blah.
Please describe the best food you have ever eaten in as much detail as you wish.

For me it would be my wife's home-made lasagna. Four layers, a few different types of oozing cheeses, just the right amount of meat and so hot it would burn my tongue if I started eating big bites right away. Of course having an ice cold beer with it is also awesome.

I'd love to read about everyone else's great foods.

I will try out everything in GW2. I might even master something.

While my family knows I love a lot of unhealthy foods such as Taco Bell's Nachos and even the cheap McDonald's $1 Double Cheese Burgers, I think the food that speaks to me the most is a nice Checkers / Rally's Baconzilla. I've tried everything and I can't possibly replicate this fantastically unhealthy sandwich, so the best home-made food I have / can make are hot dogs.

You're making me hungry sir, and I'm a real strict person when it comes to my calorie intake >.<.

The whole point of this thread was to make people hungry. I mean now you have me thinking about bacon... and who doesn't like bacon.

I'm addicted to Mac & Cheese. Soft and creamy pasta with gooey cheese slowly melted over the top. Mmm... It just melts in your mouth like butter! Sure, it's not great on your arteries but it'll be a tastey death.

^ This may sound odd to some, but if you enjoy a little kick, add a little Nam Prik Pao (Thai Chili Jam), just a spoonful on top of your mac & cheese. While not my ulimate favorite food, this tasty addition really adds another interesting layer of flavor to cheesy comfort foods. Try it!

This is one of my favorite things:

It was only a matter of time before someone talked about mac and cheese lol. Now... a video about how to make a Thai food I've never heard of- never saw that coming. How about sagu balls IN the mac-n-cheese? hmmmm...

I love pesto ravioli. Homemade pesto and homemade ravioli, like how my grandma made em.

Interesting idea! I'll have to exclude the meat to make it vegetarian though .

I love mac & cheese, too. I've made lobster mac & cheese as well, and it was incredible.

I'm a big fan of pork dishes. Years ago, I used to get a double cooked pork dish at a restaurant in NYC called Lam Yings (sadly closed for business now). It was spicy and a bit sweet and just delicious. More recently I started getting a fantasy pork fried rice at a local place, with in a sweet chili sauce with some hot spice thrown in. I'm about to have some right now in fact.
