Pre-purchasing as a gift for someone else?

I want to pre-purchase the game as a gift for my sister so that she gets the 3-day headstart and bonuses. Do I have to purchase the Digital Download version to do that or are physical copies eligible for that too? (she'd have to be able to pick it up 3-days early though, if so, in order to participate in the 3-day headstart... so it's probably digital download only)

If it's Digital Download only, I'm trying to find a way to purchase where my sister doesn't have to sign in through MY account to get her game on the 25th. Has anyone else pre-purchased as a gift for someone else and, if so, how did you do it so that they could have their own account to download it through?

To further explain what I mean... I'm thinking of stores like Best Buy and GameStop who have a software app that you download and install on your computer in order to download digital games from them. You register for an account and then the games you bought from that store are associated with your account. So you have to log into your account in those apps in order to download your games. I want to be able to pre-purchase the game for her as a gift and give HER the information, receipt, whatever, and let her register an account and be able to register and download her copy of the game through HER account, not mine. Does this make any sense at all?

I don't know anything about purchasing directly from Anet though. I haven't done that so I don't know about their system.

You'd have to make a new account for her full with password.

She can change the info later.

Digital Download would be the easiest way to ensure immediate delivery, however Amazon and other companies may be an option as well. I do not use them.

I would purchase straight from Guildwars2.com if anywhere online.

I bought a copy as a gift and just emailed him the code. They setup their own account when they activate the code.

I've bought several copies for other people through the official website. Basically you're paying for a key code. Once you get it (It will show up in an email and on the GW2 website.), just copy it down and give it to them. Then all they have to do is go to register.guildwars2.com and setup their account. Then they will have access to the download client area, and well.. I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

I find it so sweet whenever I heard someone thinking about giving a gift for somebody. Recently, I had read an article. It says that among the hottest shopping things that people are purchasing this year is the brand new Kindle or Nook for their loved ones. You may need to get a payday loan and buy it now to permit time for it to ship to your home, but it is one of the very best things out there. They are pretty awesome and people love them.
