Ex Machina is a guild that encourages authentic connections with other members through friendship and personal accountability. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide an encouraging and inviting atmosphere for our members to thrive in. A friend once said something important to me, and it absolutely applies to us: "People are going to like what you're selling". The idealist in me agrees. We're "selling" the kind of guild you always wanted, but could never quite find.

Essentially, what we are striving to create, is the feeling you get when you sit down at your dinner table with your family. The engine--the beating heart--of our guild is it's people. We invite you to gather your pals and your long lost brothers and sisters to play with us, and in doing so, share your goals and expectations with us so that we can all benefit from the experience.


We have established several Fundamental Values which we believe help encourage our members to obtain these goals.


Friendship-- Ex Machina is a Guild founded on the belief that people want to be amicable toward their fellow gamer. Our members will be devoted to both, the deepening of current friendships and the discovery of new ones.

True friendship doesn't end when the "quit to desktop" button gets pressed. It continues to grow on the forums and in random mumble chats. We want every member to feel at home and comfortable with each other's company.

Morality-- We seek members who possess the character to govern themselves in a manner which is both beneficial to their own personal growth and also furthers the development of the guild. We don't have pages of rules because the people that are drawn to our kind of guild, simply don't need to be constantly reminded of how to behave.

We pride ourselves on having members who are kind, generous, and who naturally show a respectful attitude toward their fellow guild mates.

Respect-- This subject is fairly simple. If you wish to be treated well, you should first treat others well. We in Ex Machina take respect seriously and strive to be examples for others to follow.

24 members and going strong. Though we don't want to get much bigger than 30, there's always room for another quality applicant. Ex Machina has been doing frequent dungeon runs, zone clears, sPvP and WvW with a casual intensity that augments our characters and relationships, but does not detract from the fun of gaming or make it feel like a job.
