Team Legacy has changed focus.
We've completely re-designed our site, and invite everyone to stop by.

-There is a new strong focus on guides and solid PvP topics that we hope encourages some intense and fruitful discussion.
-We are currently hiring bloggers and writers to add to our roster, specifically aimed at the pro-scene. Much like we did with SC2 @ Team Liquid.
-This will later branch out into our currently under-development skills/builds databases.
-Team Legacy is now aiming to be a PvP-focused source with our guides, platform for coaching, and of course -- tournament coverage and breakdown.
-The guild is still there, but is no longer the focus of the site by any means. We have even opened up recruitment forums for other guilds.

Weekly Update:

Hey guys! Quite a few things have been happening in TL world; I'll run through them:

Applications
-To say our application forum is going crazy is putting it lightly. It is definitely starting to kick up, but it is nothing we were not prepared for. We still aim to have our application process, start to finish, completed within one week. This includes the pre-interview, TeamSpeak interview, and other various items. It's taken us over one year and 500+ applications to get to the 60-70 members we have now, and we don't regret it one bit.

New PvP Podcast
-We're kicking off a PvP-oriented show that will be a spin-off of Tales of Tyria, featuring two of your favorite hosts, Freelancer and Bridger. We aim to provide more info on this later this week in terms of sign-ups and co-hosts. Stay tuned to the community news forums.

New Records
-We set forum records last week at 1016 visitors online, with 324 of those being registered members. On top of an extremely active week in TS (we capped out our 75 man server nearly twice a day), we have really been noticing just how much bringing in quality dedicated members can do for guild activity. We attribute much of this to the press beta event, so here is to more great beta events to come.
-We also crushed our podcast records with Tales of Tyria this last episode, reaching 600 live viewers and having more downloads combined than any other episode. This was truly exciting and we thank everyone who tuned in.

Alliance for WvW focused guilds?
-We will soon be launching an all-exclusive alliance centered around taking the ideas and strategies developed over a year of weekly TS guild meetings, and bringing them in a realistic and simple way to like-minded guilds. More details on that in next week's update. We fully believe with our experiences in Aion, DaoC, and Warhammer World PvP there are tried and proven methods to be far more efficient than the average zerg. If you feel your worthy of this dream team, send me a PM.

We'd like to officially announce the Ascension Alliance!

We spent a couple of months talking to over 40 guilds in anticipation in finding the perfect matches that mix competitive spirit with great leadership to help round out the server we will be rolling into come launch.

The alliance is run on a democratic round-table system that allows equal say by all guilds involved. Those guilds are:

vVv-Gaming
Pain Train
EDGE
and of course, Team Legacy.

Together, we are still open to bringing one or two more guilds on-board to join our venture into WvW greatness, and Structured PvP eSports. If this is you, give any of the guild leaders a shout, we'd love to meet you.

D1/D2 Recruitment Opened

If there's one thing everyone learned from beta, it's that Team Legacy "walked" it's "talk". We completely crushed everyone we came across, and had some incredible and epic battles.

Zerg? You didn't find it in TL. We had numerous strategies, splits, and collaboration with other guilds that impressed even Isiah Cartwright. After taking a keep where he had superior numbers (via our bait and switch tactic) he sent us a few compliments via PM and even a "Isiah Rose". It was a shining moment that made everyone feel that "guild pride".

That being said, we realized that in order to accomplish our goals more efficiently in the upcoming live launch of Guild Wars 2, we need to only mount a solid offense (which we had, surely) but also establish an effective upgrade/macro-management defense. This means we are opening recruitment - - for a bit.

D1/D2 is now open to those who have been waiting.

Thanks to help within the community and a few sponsors, we had the site completely redone professionally from the ground up. Even now, work is still being done, and we're excited about seeing the finished product!

Guild Wars 2

That said, we want to remind everyone that we have opened recruitment again for Guild Wars 2, this time focusing less on the extreme hardcore aspects and more on the "fun factor" of WvW and the game. If you did not apply earlier due to either being overwhelmed or a bit put off about how hardcore we seemed, we suggest giving us another shot . We have streamlined the recruiting and training process to allow for a smoother transition. Obviously the biggest things everyone is talking about is how much fun we're making WvW to be. We invite you to run a few WvW nights with us to see for yourself -- we're certainly not your typical WvW guild

You can find us on the Isle of Janthir server, doing what we do best. Look forward to meeting you!

Planetside 2

It's official! If you were wanting to play Planetside 2 with an awesome group focused on epic aerial invasion-style tactics, then we may have a spot for you. We have one goal in mind with Planetside 2, go in fast, make the experience amazing, and make it cinematic. We already have numerous strategies and tips in place to get you ahead of the curve, and whether or not you are a TL Guild Wars 2 member, you are welcome to join us in PS2.

We will be holding our first Planetside 2 meeting this coming Saturday at 9PM EST on our TeamSpeak. The meeting is for TL members and also non-TL members for everyone to learn tips, min-maxing specs, power leveling, campaign strategy, and more. For more information, click the following link.
