Hello everyone!
My name is Selik and I am Guild Leader of NOCC.
NOCC or "No Ordinary Corpse Carnival” is a Semi-Casual PvX Guild that was created for Guild Wars 2. You may or may not know us from two recent MMO’s as Insomnia/Rabid Rifting Rabbits on Rift and Ridder’s of Caerbannog on SWTOR.
We will be attempting everything from crafting to WvW and whatever else ArenaNet decides to throw at us. We are by no means "hardcore” players, though we would like to complete content in a timely manner for everyone. With this in mind, we also realize that everyone has lives outside the game ranging from family to work. Life will always come first in this guild so you will never be kicked out for not participating in dungeon runs, dynamic events, WvW, etc. because of real life obligations. We want this guild to be fun and laid back and not become someone’s second job that they have to keep up with.
We ask that most people who apply to please be 18+, but we will never deny an application based on age. If you are younger, but mature enough to handle our brand of humor and general stupid nonsense, then by all means apply and we will gladly take your application into consideration.
Finally, our guild name might confuse some. If you have not tuned into Toonami recently or have seen the anime on any other network before, the name comes from "Deadman Wonderland”. In Deadman, the Corpse Carnival (Carnival of Corpses, Carnival Corpse, etc.) is a major spectacle where individuals known as "Deadmen” compete in bouts to the death for the entertainment of the masses. Now this might sound familiar to the famous gladiator battles in the Roman Coliseum during the Age of Antiquity, and you would be right. The author of the series took inspiration from those battles when creating Corpse Carnival. Technically, are we not entertaining ourselves by making our characters fight for us to the death in Guild Wars 2? Think about that for a while. The "No Ordinary” part just comes from us trying to make our guild name more unique.
We are currently very small, with just two members, and we wish to remain small for the most part. Hoping to have at least 25-30 members max.
If you are interested at all, please feel free to head on over to our site,[NOCC], for more info.
