Going Postal - A Guild Wars 2 Community - Founded by Experience

Going Postal - Guild Wars 2

I and some others have set about creating a small Guild Wars 2 community pre-emptive of its release. I’d like to invite anyone who is looking to join others in the upcoming weeks.

We are all highly anticipating the release of Guild Wars 2 but also other titles, but our main focus will be GW2. The site, which is now set up and ready for members, is a little bare, but hope to fill it soon. Our future guild will be called ‘Going Postal’.

We are looking for casual, friendly and sensible players who are looking to form a close community. We all very serious about this statement and as GW2 will not require large groups of people for raids; we will not be looking for vast numbers just to have ‘enough healers on the day’. We want good social players to get to know before release and group with after.

Feel free to head over to our site and have a look at our manifesto and joining FAQ for more information. I should say our recruitment form is a little lengthy and has some odd questions.

A few points: we are EU based and English speaking.

I had a look at your site, and there's one question that it didn't answer yet: will your guild be focused on any particular playstyle (pve or pvp, roleplaying, immersive play or not, etc) ?

Guild site needs more postage stamps, imo.

    Welcome to the forums!

Welcome to the forums! Enjin is a wonderful host. Our guild is nearing our one year anniversary and we've been with Enjin since the start! We're very pleased with them. =)

I've posted around a good amount of sites and this is the first time I've seen such a friendly response.

I'm glad you had a look and we appreciate the feedback, helps make sure we have tied any lose ends. I think at the moment our intention will be to focus on both PVE and all manifestations of PVP; with no pre-determined leaning to either.

Me and the other founders are embarrassingly bad with graphic design but with practice were hoping to have a nice wax stamp style logo with our name and maybe some nifty stamps

Also Aaricia, I had a good poke around the other Guild sites and it didn't take long before I found yours. Truely love your design work and the stunning quality of your graphics and also your written work.

Anyway, thank you for the welcomes!

Friendly? Us? Oh yeah. right...friendly. lol Belated welcome to the Forums. I've been on a few and there's no folk like the people here. Pretty much why I made it my home forum.
