Will guild wars have character creation per realm or something like that? Meaning can you create a certain number of characters per realm or something like that?
How is that going to work?

They haven't really released any information on that as far as I have seen. Though I admit I'm a little behind on the PAX stuff.

Hi stingwolf, welcome to these forums.
With realm you mean per server? If so, then the answer is no... all GW2 servers are part of the same global network. Your characters are created on your account, regardless of which server you're on at any time. So you can switch servers (details of that haven't been announced yet) and still have access to the same set of characters. So when you buy the game, you will get a certain amount of character slots for your account (exactly how much hasn't been confirmed yet) and you can create that amount of characters. If you need more character slots, then you can either buy additional character slots, or you can delete one of the existing characters to make room for a new one.
Does that answer your question?
no. im confused to how i am going to create a character per server. they explained it weirdly. like you can create a character on say.... Zynos server/realm/whatever and then go and make a another character on say Gladiolus server/realm/whatever. they both are on your account just two different characters. one could be a warrior and i could be a ranger or whatever
I don't believe that each server that will be used for GW2 will actually be listed or able to be chosen from when you create your character. From what I understand, all servers will be unified, allowing accounts to access multiple servers during normal game-play experiences. When you create your player like you do for GW1, you don't have to pick a server to plan on, all servers are connected together. So if you have a player, and your friend has a player, you don't need to both be on the same server in order to play together, the game already does that for you automatically.
Hopefully that helps...
I guess. i dont know. i need to see it to understand the way that they put people in the game.
If you have ever played GW1, that is the best example you can get at this time... Mostly the same server conditions will be used for GW2.

Yes, apparently it will work very similar to GW1. That is, at login time you don't login to a specific server. The game automatically determines the server you login to (usually based on the region of the world you're in), and all your characters will be available to you on that server. But once you're on a specific server, the game will always try to log you in to that server by default. In-game, you can switch to another server (for example, switch from a European server to a US server), and all your characters will still be with you on the new server.
There are some differences with the GW1 system, though: in GW1, you could choose between US region, European region, and International region, and the game would automatically determine a 'district'. All districts were linked together in one big cluster. In GW2 there will definitely be a bigger choice in which server you're on, as World vs World vs World pvp puts 3 servers against each other in a huge 2-week pvp battle. But with regard to characters it still doesn't matter. If for example you have created 6 characters on your account, then no matter which server you log into that day, all those 6 characters will be available to you.
Or, to look at it another way (based on how it works in GW1): in many other mmo's, you first choose the server you want to play on, then you get a list of characters that you have created on that server, and you can choose one of them. So if you login on server A you could have Carl the Ranger, William the Warrior and Cliff the Elementalist, if you login to server B you could have Johnny the Warrior and Ted the Necro. In GW1, you login to your (global) account, there you will have a list of ALL the characters you have created (Carl, William, Cliff, Johnny AND Ted). You choose what character you want to play (or you create a new one), and THEN you login to a server.

Is that officialy confirmed or are you just speculating? I don't see how it could work this way with WvWvW... If people see that their server keeps losing in WvWvW then they would probably just abandon that server and go to the server that recieved the blessing of the last battle for extra bonuses. What you are describing is more or less the GW 1 server system.
