    Cool Australian/Oceanic Guild

    Recruitment Open

Hello, If your here you may be considering joining an oceanic guild, well look no further with an active friendly community Downunder is looking for more members for the upcoming MMO Guild Wars 2.

    A bit about us

We are a bunch of players mostly from the oceanic region (Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia)

We originally started this guild so we could gather a friendly, mature community who wanted to play at our own timezone and not have to scrounge around for numbers.

We have grown to 40+ members and are getting bigger as the release of Guild Wars 2 fast approaches.

We have all different age groups, ethnicity's and personalities but what we have in common is a need for a close community who respects each other and enjoys spending time on the forums and in games together.

    What we are looking for

We are looking for mature, drama-free and active players for our Guild Wars 2 community.

We love to have a laugh and a joke so a sense of humor is a must!

Members who are active on our forum's and will be active enough to contribute in Guild Wars 2.

We are recruiting both casual and core members for the time being and if you fit our criteria we would love for you to join us!

    Cheers
    Downunder Guild

    Hi kram,

I'd like to welcome you and Downunder to these forums.

From "aiming for progression and endgame experience" I gather that the core focus of the guild is PvE (maybe with some PvP on the side)? Or am I wrong there?

Also, with regard to "endgame experience"... you do know that ArenaNet/GW2 has a different philosophy on "endgame"? They like to say that in GW2 the "endgame experience" starts at level 2... you do not first have to grind your way up to level 80 to get to the good and tough stuff

Yeah sorry mate i may have mis-phrased alot of my post, to clarify yes mostly PVE focus with a little PVP on the side and yeah endgame is the wrong word i mean dynamic events in particular those of the tougher variety.

No worries, all clear now. And if you're unhappy with your OP (or if things change within your guild), you will always be able to re-edit it to better reflect the current situation...

SERIOUSLY considering this guild. I've currently signed with a guild who wants quality, but not necessarily god-like, players... and I'm gonna take a better play experience over convienence at this stage. That and prior commitments and all that.

Welcome to the forum. Good to see some more representation from the land down under. Hope you enjoy!

Psyklone, who not join both? Remember that Guild Wars 2 will allow players to be a member of multiple guilds...

Hey thanks for the warm welcome guys

There must be a lot of Aus/NZ gamers out there as I've had a heap of interest so far.

Psyklone, we have a few people in a couple of guilds already.
We really are trying to be an open guild for all, we will have a core group for PVE and PVP but social and casuals are more than welcome.
