Error 3002 email not found
So I can't find anything on this code and the game is completely not playable. Support hasn't responded in 24 + hours so maybe someone here knows something
I got my game registered, went to log in and play the first time and got error code 3002 email not found. Contact support.
I get that support is slammed right now but a least a "we hear you and are looking into it would be nice"
Right now I just feel out $60 with no help at all available. Tried support, twitter, facebook - no response anywhere and game that I can't even launch. Big let down and I'm quickly growing to hate this game and may soon call the credit card company to get my money back. Very Frustrated.

A few questions:
- Make sure you use the exact same email address and password that you registered your account with (on https://register.guildwars2.com, or when you purchased the game from the official website) to log into the game.
- Can you log in to your account on the website (https://account.guildwars2.com/login) with your email address and password?
- Did you play the original Guild Wars and link a Guild Wars 1 account to your Guild Wars 2 account? If that is the case, then make sure you log into the game using your Guild Wars 1 email address!
-
Lets - see. this is in order of the questions above:
- I did. And was super careful for typos once the first log in failed.
- No - the website isn't letting me in either - similar message about email not found in a little pop up next to where you put in the email address.
- I did play GW1 and linked my account when registering. I tried that email as well and I get the same 3002 email address not found. (you had my hopes up with that one)
It's been 48 hours - still not a peep from support site. I sorta feel like my account fell into a black hole in the brief period between registering, installing then launching the game. I do have the acct# which I put in the support ticket but I don't feel like anyone is watching that queue.
Not really sure what to try at this point. It'd be great if they could pull up by my serial number and help that way. Maybe I typoed the email address when regitering or something - but I have no way to check.

All I can tell you is that, if you linked your GW1 account to GW2, then you need to log into the game and the forums using your GW1 address (although all mail should be sent to your GW2 address). No idea why you would get an error 3002 on that. The 3002 error appears to indicate that this email address isn't in their database. Is it possible that it's using your NCSoft master account password (or something like that) instead of your GW1 password?
And yeah, Support is flooded with questions, so unfortunately they have a lot of catching up to do. I hope they can get their response time down soon.

Any news on this? Got the same problem:/

My husband just started to get this error this morning specifically error 3002:1008:1:462. He is unable to log into the game, he can't even log on to his account on their support page to try and get some help.
I understand that the game has just released and some problems are to be expected but this is a serious issue. So very frustrating!
