Suggetion Forum?

As of now, we don't have any devs actively posting...as for reading, you never know. I'll add it later, can't hurt anything.

Well seeing as I cant find anywhere else to post this; to start a suggestion thread I would 'suggest' that A/N could change the name system in GW2; I hear that if someone creates a character name the same as yours you get your 4 digits added on - this kind of sucks (especially for role players) as no doubt this will cause confusion and people would abuse it. Whether I misread this, and it only applies to forum names, I dont know!

That's for Forum communication, and Account management only, not in-game.
If someone already has your name you just won't be able to create the Character with that name on your home Shard. Blizzard uses the same kind of System with their new Battle.Net used in Starcraft II, and Diablo 3. Character Names and Account Names are kept separate. Mind you it's used very differently in Diablo 3 then it would be used in Gw2. In the Gw2 Official Forums you'll most likely have a chance to "be seen" as a one of your in-game character names, kind of like the WoW Forums (speculation with high probability).
