Two other heroes that are fairly easy to get, once you've got yourself a reasonable solo build, are Xandra (ritualist) and Kahmu (dervish), from the Norn tournament against Magni the Bison in Gunnar's Hold. Xandra is one of the possible enemies in the second round of the tournament, Kahmu in the 4th round. All you have to do to unlock them as heroes, is to defeat them in the tournament. And if you don't get them, just leave the tournament and try again
With the current skill balancing in GW1, ritualists are very useful to have in your party (as are necromancers and mesmers).
Right. Yes. That should teach me for skimming through posts

Eh, I wouldn't sweat it TOO much. Me on the other hand, I'm WAY behind you :-(. I just had to re-purchase everything and JUST started Nightfall with my 20 warrior. It was cool how Factions pretty much handed me the 20 lvls, but now there's just SOOOO much I want to see and do that I'm a little dizzy. I suppose I should look up the HOM perks eh!?

Hi Charrles, welcome to these forums (creepy name though, I hope you're nothing like him?)

Don't know how far you got the first time, but if you just started playing again, then I'd recommend just completing all the main storylines first, enjoying the stories and unlocking skills to use... all that will come in handy when you start hunting points for the HoM.
Don't expect any major perks in GW2 from the HoM, though... the stuff you get access to is mostly just items with different skins than what will be available in-game... and a few additional titles.
