Has there been any solution found to this problem?? I'm having the same problem and it's really bothering me because I know that it can't be that my computer can't handle the game... so the only thing I can think of is if this is a problem with the graphics card not working with the game.

My system:

MOBO: Fatal1ty 990FX
Power: 650watt
HD: Seagate 1TB
CPU: 8-core AMD FX-8150
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 16GB DDR5 (1866)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 550 TI

I start the game, can play for anywhere between 15 to 40 minutes, and then the game crashes... the sound cuts in and out, the mouse stops responding but the keyboard is responding (at least can turn caps on and off) for about 15 seconds and then there is a strange machine-like (almost techno) sound plays through speakers.

ANY help would be great. I have tried 4 different versions of drivers (including the ones suggested by the game) and get the same problem. Please help~!
